The Class of 2026 screened their fall-semester short films to an excited audience the Balcony Theater in the Fine Arts Building on Saturday, December 7th.
From August to December, students worked non-stop on their and each other’s films. Writing the scripts, scouting the locations, directing the actors, running the sets, and editing their films were no easy tasks. Many students were tired from the hard work, but also proud to share that hard work with family and friends, as well as the cast and crew they worked with.
The faculty who oversaw these films also attended the screening. From left to right, Professor Leandro Tadashi, Professor Marty Lang, Professor Nekisa Cooper, and Professor Neil Landau all applauded the achievements of Class of 2026.
With Professor Tadashi, who taught Directing 1, opening the screening, all 16 films were screened at the Balcony Theatre in the Fine Arts Building.
